HeartSong 2011-'The King and I'

30th July 2011 started like any normal day little did we know it was going to be an epoch event that would cause a shift in Aberdeen.

For the HeartSong team this was the day we had rehearsed ,prayed and fasted for. It finally was here. For me personally, I couldn't explain the joy and excitement I was feeling to finally see a dream come true. Of course all the nerves and the anxiety I was feeling lol.

It was a beautiful night indeed, the sound was good, the musicians were skilled and played skillfully. The atmosphere was right. Everyone had the same focus which was to entertain God without all the cosmetics if you understand what I mean. It wasn't about anyone, it wasn't about the good voices, no it was about The King of all kings. So with one heart, we sang, we danced, we cried, we knelt down, we lay down before Him. Oh my goodness what an experience. There was just such a sweet presence. It was a blast.

I have been receiving so many feedback from those who participated in this great night telling of how their worship life has been transformed.

This is just the beginning and although there is so much to learn from this experience, God was glorified, a major seed has been planted, a weight has been shifted and God is pleased.

I really want to thank and appreciate all those who believe in this vision. Vision helpers. Thanks for your support, prayers, encouragement, criticisms and your love. These will not go unrewarded.
